Ingredients for making ginger garlic pickle:
200 grams ginger
200 grams garlic
One teaspoon mustard powder
One teaspoon coriander powder
One teaspoon red chili powder
One teaspoon Kashmiri red chili
One teaspoon fenugreek seeds
Half teaspoon fennel
Half teaspoon nigella seeds
Half bowl mustard oil
Salt according to taste
Method of making garlic ginger pickle:
First of all clean garlic and ginger thoroughly. Remove all the peels of garlic and ginger and keep them aside. Put ginger and garlic in a mortar and grind them coarsely and take them out in a plate, now heat half a bowl of oil in a pan, when the oil becomes hot, add half a teaspoon mustard, half a teaspoon nigella, half a teaspoon fennel to it.
When the tempering crackles, add all the ground spices to it and fry on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes. When the spices are lightly roasted, add coarsely crushed ginger and garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. When all the spices and ginger garlic are mixed well, add salt according to taste and turn off the gas. Store this pickle in a glass container, this pickle will not spoil for months.
