Now, the company is rumored to be working on its new creations, especially the Redmi K80 series. In a recent post, tipster Digital Chat Station has provided a set of impressive details for an unnamed device believed to be the Redmi K80 Pro.

According to the account, the device will be armed with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen4 chip, which is expected to be unveiled in October. This echoes previous reports of the model to be announced alongside the rumored vanilla Redmi K80 Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 model.

The new leak also hints at the Redmi K80 Pro having a flat OLED display with a single punch-hole and thin bezels. Previous reports suggest the screen will offer a 2K resolution and include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display.

The smartphone will arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. It is based on a new 3nm architecture and includes the Cortex-X925 core for high performance.

In the display section, the account claimed that there would be a flat 2K 120Hz OLED display. This part also reiterates previous reports about the series, with rumors claiming that the entire line could feature 2K resolution displays.

The Redmi K80 models are also tipped to get 2K resolution displays. For comparison, the base and Pro Redmi K70 handsets are equipped with 6.67-inch 2K OLED screens.

The tipster added that the Redmi K80 series smartphones will come with metal frames and glass backs. The design of the purported models has not yet surfaced online.
