SBI has clarified that neither the bank nor its officials are associated with such schemes. SBI has advised everyone to be vigilant and avoid falling prey to these fraudulent claims.
SBI posted on the microblogging site X, writing, “These deepfake videos claim that the bank is launching or supporting a scheme that can be helpful for its customers and advise people to invest in it. If you also fall prey to such a video and invest, you will become a victim of fraud.”
