The government has launched the PAN 2.0 scheme. Under this initiative, you can replace your old PAN with a new, QR code-enabled PAN. A PAN card with a QR code is more secure. Per the PAN 2.0 guidelines, Indian PAN card holders can apply for a reprint of their PAN card by paying a fee of ₹50. The QR code-enabled PAN card will be sent to the taxpayer’s registered and physical email address. Additionally, you can correct or update your information on this PAN card if needed.
