How to make Ayushman Card? Know the whole process

There are a bunch of schemes from both state and central governments that offer financial benefits. If you qualify for any of these, you can apply and take advantage of them. There’s a variety of schemes available, and joining one could really help you out. For instance, if you’re looking for free medical treatment, you can sign up for the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

This initiative is managed by the Government of India, and a lot of people are already benefiting from it. If you haven’t gotten your Ayushman card yet, here’s how you can do it.

You can get your Ayushman card in two ways:

First, the online method:

If you prefer to apply online, just head over to the official website at https://pmjay.gov.in/. You can fill out your application there to get your Ayushman card.

Now, the offline method:

Step 1:

To get your Ayushman card, start by visiting your nearest CSC center. Once there, talk to the relevant officer and let them know you want to apply for the Ayushman card. They’ll check if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Step 2:

After confirming your eligibility, the officer will verify your documents. If everything checks out, they’ll process your application. Before you know it, your Ayushman card will be ready, and you’ll be able to download it shortly after.

Coverage of up to Rs 5 lakh:

With an Ayushman card, you’re covered for up to Rs 5 lakh each year, meaning you can receive free treatment up to that amount annually. You can get treated at listed hospitals, and the government takes care of all the expenses.
