Honda Activa EV: The electric scooter market in India is experiencing a significant surge, characterized by fierce competition among leading manufacturers. In a bid to compete with established brands such as TVS, Bajaj, and Hero Vida, Honda has made a strategic move by launching the electric version of its iconic Activa scooter, alongside a more budget-friendly model known as the QC1.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has unveiled the Activa Electric (referred to as Activa e) in two distinct variants. The base model is priced at an introductory ex-showroom rate of Rs 1.17 lakh, making it an attractive option for consumers looking to transition to electric mobility. For those seeking additional features and enhanced performance, the premium Activa e RoadSync Duo variant is available at Rs 1.52 lakh. In contrast, the QC1 is positioned as a more economical choice, offered in a single variant with an ex-showroom price of Rs 90,000.
These new electric scooters are now open for booking in several major cities across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. The booking process is made accessible with a nominal fee of just one thousand rupees, encouraging potential buyers to secure their models early. Deliveries for both the Activa Electric and QC1 are scheduled to begin next month, in February 2025, marking an exciting development for the electric vehicle segment.

To enhance customer confidence, Honda is providing a robust warranty package for both models, offering a 3-year or 50,000-kilometer warranty. Additionally, customers will enjoy complimentary services and roadside assistance during the first year of ownership, ensuring a hassle-free experience as they adapt to their new electric scooters.
