Honda Shine 125 New: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the updated Shine 125 model. This new iteration complies with OBD-2B regulations and incorporates several new features. It boasts an upgraded engine and a fully digital instrument console to align with forthcoming emission standards, similar to Honda’s other mass-market offerings. The 2025 Honda Shine 125 is priced at approximately Rs 85,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in two variants: drum and disc. It can now be found at HMSI dealerships throughout India.
Powered by a 123.94cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine
The updated Shine 125 is powered by a 123.94cc, single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine that meets OBD2B compliance. This engine produces 7.93 kW of power at 7500 RPM and delivers a peak torque of 11 Nm at 6000 RPM.
Equipped with a full digital instrument cluster
Additionally, it features an idling stop system that enhances fuel efficiency. The motorcycle is equipped with a full digital instrument cluster that provides various information, including real-time mileage, range (distance to empty), service due indicator, gear position indicator, and eco indicator. Furthermore, it includes a USB Type-C charging port, enabling riders to charge their devices while on the move.
Refreshed with a new color scheme
The design of the Shine 125 maintains its luxurious and stylish character, now refreshed with a new color scheme. It is offered in six color options, including Pearl Igneous Black, Jenny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue. Additionally, the motorcycle features a 90 mm wide rear tire, which enhances both its aesthetic appeal and road stability.
