Good news for farmers in India. Everyone’s luck is going to bloom soon. The Indian government has a bunch of schemes aimed at helping its citizens. Millions of people benefit from these initiatives, especially since a large portion of the population relies on farming for their livelihood. That’s why the government provides significant support to farmers.

Back in 2019, the Government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana specifically for farmers. Through this program, farmers receive a financial aid of Rs 6000 each year. Countless farmers have taken advantage of this scheme, with the government transferring Rs 2000 to their accounts three times a year. So far, 18 installments have been disbursed, and now farmers are eagerly awaiting the 19th installment, which is set to be released in just a few days this month. However, farmers need to complete certain tasks to qualify for the benefits.

The upcoming installment is set to be released soon

Farmers all over the country are looking forward to the next payment from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The 19th installment is scheduled for release in February. Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan announced that this installment will be available on the 24th of this month.

The Prime Minister is set to announce this payment himself, which means farmers can expect some exciting news soon. Over 13 crore farmers across the country will receive Rs 2000 from the 19th installment directly in their accounts.

Is this step really needed before the payment?

For those benefiting from the PM Kisan Yojana, the government had previously laid out some tasks to be completed. They instructed farmers to complete their e-KYC, but there are still quite a few who haven’t finished this process yet.
