Maruti Suzuki Celerio: Significant transformations are occurring in the Indian automobile sector, particularly concerning safety features. Maruti Suzuki has made a notable advancement in this area by standardizing six airbags in its widely favored hatchback, the Celerio, thereby enhancing the vehicle’s safety profile. However, this enhancement has been accompanied by an increase in the car’s pricing.

Celerio offered only dual airbags

Previously, the Celerio offered only dual airbags (for the driver and front passenger) as an optional feature, but the company has now made six airbags standard across all variants. This update may soon extend to other models within the Maruti lineup, reflecting the company’s commitment to adhering to evolving safety regulations.

Emerged as more secure option

For prospective buyers of the Celerio, this development presents a more secure choice. The revised ex-showroom prices for the Maruti Celerio now range from Rs 5.64 Lakh to Rs 7.37 Lakh. For those in search of an affordable yet safe hatchback, the Maruti Celerio has emerged as a more appealing option. Nevertheless, it will be intriguing to observe customer reception following the price adjustments.

Maruti Suzuki has raised the prices of various Celerio variants by amounts ranging from Rs 16,000 to Rs 32,500.
