PM Kisan Yojana 19th instalment update: The 19th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be credited to farmers’ accounts soon. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan recently announced that the next instalment will be transferred to farmers’ bank accounts by the end of February 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Bihar on 24 February, and from there, he will send the 19th instalment of PM Kisan to farmers’ accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

e-KYC Verification is Mandatory

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per year to small and marginal farmers. This amount is given in three instalments of Rs 2,000 each. To receive the benefits, farmers must complete e-KYC. The purpose of e-KYC is to ensure that the funds reach the rightful beneficiaries and prevent fraud. Farmers who do not complete e-KYC may miss out on the 19th instalment. So, it is important to get e-KYC done immediately.

Ways to Complete e-KYC

Farmers can complete e-KYC in three ways, depending on their convenience:

  1. OTP-based e-KYC: Available on the PM Kisan portal and mobile app.
  2. Face Authentication e-KYC: This can be done from home through the mobile app.
  3. Biometric e-KYC: Available at Common Service Centers (CSC) and State Seva Kendras.

When Will the 19th Installment be Released?

According to Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, the 19th instalment of PM Kisan Yojana will be credited to farmers’ accounts on 24 February 2025. On that day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Bihar, where he will participate in agricultural programs and launch development projects. The PM Kisan instalment will also be transferred on the same day.

How to Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List

The government released a list of beneficiaries for the PM Kisan Yojana to show which farmers will receive the benefits. Here’s how to check your name:

  • Visit the official PM Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in
  • Click on the “Beneficiary Status” option.
  • Enter your Aadhaar number or bank account number.
  • Click on “Get Data” to view your details.
