Kia India has started the year 2025 on a great note. The company recently launched the most awaited Syros. Also, the company has achieved growth in sales in January 2025. Let’s take a look at the January 2025 sales report of Kia Motors in this article.
Kia India sold a total of 25,025 units last month, which shows a marginal growth of 5 percent year-on-year. Kia sold a total of 8,957 units in December 2024. Syros figures have also been included in the sales figures released by Kia for January 2025 as the company has released wholesale figures.
Breaking down the figures, Kia Sonet tops the list with 7,194 units sold in January 2025, followed by Kia Seltos with 6,470 units sold last month. Next is the recently launched Kia Syros, which is in third place on this list with 5,546 units sold.
In fourth place is Kia Carens with 5,522 units sold last month followed by Carnival with 293 units sold last month. Talking about Syros, it has been launched only on 1 February 2025.
The starting price of Kia Syros is Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and it competes with other sub 4 meter SUVs like Nexon, Brezza, Venue, XUV3XO, and Kia’s own Sonet.
The price of Kia Sonet ranges from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15.70 lakh (ex-showroom). It is capable of giving mileage up to 22.3 km per liter. If we talk about its safety features, then it has safety features like Level 1 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), 6 airbags (as standard), 360-degree camera, all-wheel disc brakes, and front and rear parking sensors.
The price of Kia Seltos starts at Rs 11.12 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 20.51 lakh. For safety, it gets 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, vehicle stability control, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and all-wheel disc brakes in all variants. Also, level 2 ADAS safety is available in higher-spec variants.
Kia Carens has priced this MPV from Rs 10.60 lakh to Rs 19.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Depending on the variant, the Carens is available either as a 7-seater with a bench in the middle or as a 6-seater with a separate captain seat in the middle.
