Bajaj Dominar 400: After recently updating its Pulsar range, the country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is now going to update the flagship Dominar 400 bike as well. The new Dominar 400 has been spotted several times during testing.
Some of its latest pictures have surfaced. The new Dominar 400 is also expected to get riding modes like the Pulsar NS400Z with a ride-by-wire throttle system. It is believed that this time the new Dominar is going to be quite powerful.
Powerful engine
The new Dominar 400 will get a 373cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which produces 40bhp of power and 35Nm of torque. This engine will be equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine will be more powerful which can perform well from city to highway.
The current model is priced at Rs 2.32 lakh (ex-showroom) but the new model is going to be priced higher. Through this bike, the company will target the youth. This bike is not for the family class.
Features of the new Dominar 400
The new Bajaj Dominar now has taillights in the main cluster, while the secondary cluster located on the fuel tank has been removed. In its place, a USB port is now available to charge smartphones or other gadgets. Apart from this, a new instrument cluster will be available in this new bike, which supports Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
This cluster is made up of 2 different sets of displays. The larger left part has a speedo, tacho, gear position indicator, odometer, ride modes, time, side stand indicator, tail lights, cell phone signal reception, and battery level information.
Apart from this, features like how much fuel is left in the bike and turn-by-turn navigation are available in it. The weight of the bike can go up to 188-200 kg. For safety, disc brakes can be provided on both the tires of the bike.
