Jio, Airtel, Vi Cut Price: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) ordered that Jio, Airtel, and Vi reduce the prices of their calling + SMS only tariff plans by Rs 210 and Rs 110, respectively.
TRAI recently ordered telecom companies to provide users a separate option for voice + SMS-only packs. After this, all the companies launched new tariff plans of only voice calling + SMS, but their price remained high. But now, all the companies have updated the old plan by removing the data. Jio plan became cheaper by Rs 210
Jio had earlier introduced two recharge plans of Rs 458 and Rs 1,958, but now its price has been reduced to Rs 448 and Rs 1,748. In the Rs 448 plan, customers are given a validity of 84 days. At the same time, an unlimited calling facility is available on all networks for conversation.
A total of 1000 is also being offered in the plan. At the same time, unlimited calling and 3,600 SMS are provided with one-year validity in the 1,748 plan. After TRAI’s talk of review, the company has reduced the price of the plan by 210 rupees.
Airtel also reduced the price.
Airtel had earlier introduced plans of 499 and 1,959 rupees. Their prices have been reduced to 469 and 1,849 rupees, respectively. The 469 plan offers unlimited calling and 900 SMS for 84 days. At the same time, the 1,849 plan has a validity of 365 days. The plan also provides 3,600 SMS and unlimited calling.
Vi also reduced prices.
Vi has also launched two new plans. In the first plan, the company offers calling and 3,600 SMS with a validity of 365 days for Rs 1,849. The Rs 470 plan gives 84 days validity, free unlimited calling, and 900 SMS.
