Honda CBR 125R: Honda has officially unveiled the 2024 Honda CB125R for the international market. This new model features a variety of color choices and incorporates several modern elements. Designed for entry-level riders, the CB125R meets A1 license requirements and positions itself as a competitor to the KTM 125 Duke globally.
The motorcycle boasts a new 5-inch TFT display
It is available in four distinct color variants. The motorcycle boasts a new 5-inch TFT display, derived from the Honda CB1000R, along with updated switchgear for managing the tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, and the TFT screen. The 2024 CB125R adheres to Euro 5+ emissions standards. Its DOHC 4V engine generates a maximum power output of 14.75 bhp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 11.6 Nm at 8,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed transmission.
Safety is enhanced with dual-channel ABS
The engine features fuel injection and an underbelly exhaust system, achieving a top speed of 105 km/h. Safety is enhanced with dual-channel ABS, regulated by an IMU. The bike’s frame is constructed from tubular and pressed steel in a lattice design, supported by 41mm Showa separate function big piston forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is managed by radially mounted Nissin four-piston calipers at the front and a single-piston caliper on a 220mm rear disc.
When will it launch in India?
The motorcycle is priced at £4,249 (approximately Rs 4.48 lakh) and comes equipped with a comprehensive array of advanced features. It remains uncertain whether the CB125R will be launched in the Indian market. Should it be introduced, it would likely compete with the KTM 125 Duke.
