Royal Enfield Scram 440: Royal Enfield, a prominent name in the two-wheeler industry, has unveiled its latest model, the ‘Scram 440’. This new addition to the Scrambler lineup comes in two variants: Trail and Force, with prices starting at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The design closely resembles that of its predecessor, the Scram 411, and is available in a variety of colors including Trail Blue, Trail Green, Force Blue, and Force Grey.
Features and technology
The Trail variant features spoke wheels and tube tires, while the Force variant is equipped with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. Its striking round LED headlamp and robust fuel tank contribute to its commanding presence, and the single-piece seat enhances riding comfort.
Engine specifications
At its core, the Scram 440 is powered by a 443 cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 25 hp and a peak torque of 34 Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Slightly heavier than the Scram 411
Royal Enfield has also reinforced the chassis of the Scram 440, allowing for the installation of a top box at the rear, which can carry up to 10 kg. Both variants come standard with switchable ABS and LED headlights. The motorcycle features a 15-litre fuel tank and weighs in at 197 kg, which is slightly heavier than the Scram 411 by 2 kg.

In the market, the Scram 440 is priced between Rs 2.08 lakhs and Rs 2.15 lakhs (ex-showroom, Chennai), reflecting an increase of Rs 2,000 to 3,000 compared to the Scram 411.
