PNB KYC: Attention Punjab National Bank account holders, an important notice is here. Starting January 23rd, services will be suspended unless you complete your KYC process.

Important documents

KYC, or Know Your Customer, is a crucial requirement that involves submitting your identity information to the bank. This includes documents such as your voter ID, Aadhar card, PAN card, driving license, and even utility bills. The bank will review these documents to ensure your account information is current.

All customers must complete their KYC updates

To continue using your account without interruption, it’s essential to update your KYC details. If you fail to do so by January 23, 2025, you will lose access to your account. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, all customers must complete their KYC updates by September 30, 2024.

How to complete the process?

When updating your KYC, you will need to provide various documents, including proof of identity, proof of address, a recent photograph, your PAN card or Form 60, proof of income, and your mobile number. You can easily complete this process through Punjab National Bank One, Internet Banking, or by visiting your local branch before the January 23, 2025 deadline.

Failure to update your KYC may lead to restrictions on your account activities. Therefore, the bank urges all customers to take action promptly. For any assistance, feel free to visit your nearest Punjab National Bank branch or check out the official website at https://www.pnbindia.in.

Why KYC is important?

The KYC process is essential for banks and financial institutions to verify their customers’ identities. Following RBI regulations, it is mandatory for all customers to comply with KYC requirements. Even after opening an account, banks will send notifications reminding you to update your KYC information.
