Rohit Sharma’s Ranji Match Confirmation
Rohit Sharma confirmed his participation in the Ranji Trophy during the announcement of the Champions Trophy squad on Saturday. Though his recent form in Test cricket has been underwhelming—failing to impress in the three-match series against New Zealand and Australia—Rohit is now set to feature in domestic cricket. This move comes after the BCCI made it mandatory for all contracted players to participate in domestic cricket, with exceptions for injuries or workload management. Currently, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, and Kuldeep Yadav are unavailable for various reasons.
