TATA Sierra EV: The Auto Expo is showcasing a series of impressive vehicle launches, with Tata Motors unveiling the Tata Sierra EV in both petrol and diesel variants. This marks the first introduction of the petrol version of the Sierra SUV at Auto Expo 2025, and it is fully prepared for production. The SUV will be available in three configurations: electric, petrol, and diesel, with Tata announcing that the Sierra will hit the Indian market by the end of this year.

Modern features

The top-tier model is expected to feature a premium sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and ventilated front seats. In terms of safety, it may include six airbags, 360-degree cameras, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The design of the Sierra remains consistent across both the EV and internal combustion engine (ICE) versions, with minor modifications to the grille and alloy wheels. The SUV showcases signature curved rear side windows, square wheel arches, and a prominent bonnet. Notably, this is the first time the Sierra has been presented in a vibrant yellow hue.

Its interior features three screens, including a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, and a passenger-side touchscreen, all measuring 12.3 inches.

Built on the ATLAS architecture, the Tata Sierra will offer a choice between a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine (producing 170 hp and 280 Nm) and a 2.0-liter diesel engine sourced from the Harrier and Safari models. The Sierra will come with options for both manual and automatic transmissions, and it may also be equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD) technology.
