Tata Sierra ICE: Tata Motors’ India Mobility Expo 2025 pavilion is abuzz with the brand taking a step towards reviving the Sierra name. The brand has unveiled the ICE concept version of the vehicle after the electric version. If this version comes out of the production line, it will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and other models in the Indian market.
Modern Design
The Tata Sierra ICE concept comes with a modern design that is in line with the brand’s design language. It has an LED light strip covering the width of the SUV. This is a feature that is seen in most of the new Tata cars. Along with this, there is a new design for the grille along with a newly designed bumper with rectangular openings, which appear to be for the headlights. All these elements are strong enough to complete the personality of the SUV.
Interior
On the interior, the SUV comes with a dual-color theme with a four-spoke steering wheel instead of the two-spoke design. It also features a fully digital instrument cluster and a vertical infotainment system that breaks the horizontal pattern offered on the brand’s cars. Additionally, the brand offers a long list of features such as powered and ventilated seats, wireless charging, and more. For the safety of the passengers, the SUV gets six airbags, ADAS, ABS with EBD, and more.
Possible Powertrain
The brand has yet to reveal the powertrain details of the SUV. However, it is expected to come with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine along with the option of a 2.0-litre diesel engine. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
The Tata Sierra ICE Concept hints at a modern and powerful SUV that is set to give tough competition in the Indian market. Its design, features, and potential engines make it a strong contender in its segment.
