The bank warned that if your information is incorrect or your account is closed, they won’t be liable for any payment delays.

 

If a claim goes unreceived for over six years, the amount will be determined according to Reserve Bank rules. If you want to close the account linked to this scheme, let the bank know about your new account so they can link it and ensure timely release of interest or maturity amounts.

 

Meanwhile, Bank of India has informed its customers that the new BoI Online Omni Neo Internet Banking is now available. Customers can register using their valid email ID and debit card. The bank also mentioned that the old retail internet banking will be discontinued after January 21, 2025.

 

In the latest trading session, Punjab National Bank’s stock closed at 101.65, up by 0.25 percent, while Bank of India’s stock dipped 0.1 percent to Rs 102.35.
