Abua Awas Yojana Update: Jharkhand’s Every Poor Will Get 3-Room Concrete Houses – Apply Now!

1. Provides a three-room concrete house to homeless individuals and families living in kutcha houses in Jharkhand.
2. The house will be given to those who have not received a home under the PM Awas Yojana.
3. The 3-room house will include modern amenities such as a kitchen and toilet.
4. Financial assistance of Rs. 2 lakh will be provided in five instalments for house construction.
5. The amount will be directly transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account.
6. The scheme aims to build 8 lakh houses over the next three years.

Eligibility Criteria for Abua Awas Yojana

• The applicant must be a resident of Jharkhand.
• The applicant’s family income should be less than ₹3 lakh per year.
• The beneficiary must belong to one of the following categories:
  • Families living in kutcha houses,
  • Homeless or destitute families,
  • Families from particularly vulnerable tribal groups (PVTG),
  • Families affected by natural disasters,
  • Legally released bonded labourers.
• The applicant should not have received benefits under the PM Awas Yojana, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Housing Scheme, Indira Housing Scheme, or Birsa Housing Scheme
