After being selected for the Champions Trophy 2025 squad, a piece of great news has come for the fans of India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. He has been declared the captain of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), a team owned by Sanjeev Goenka. Now, Pant will be seen captaining LSG in the Indian Premier League. On Monday, Sanjeev Goenka himself announced Rishabh Pant as the team’s captain.

Speaking in an interview with Star Sports, Rishabh Pant shared where he learned the tricks of captaincy. He talked about the valuable lessons he learned from former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and current captain Rohit Sharma.

Rishabh Pant, while discussing Mahendra Singh Dhoni, shared, “Mahi bhai’s words are very famous. He once said, ‘Take care of the process, and the results will come by themselves.’ I will always remember this and focus solely on my work.”

Rishabh Pant has previously captained Delhi Capitals in the IPL and also led the Indian cricket team in the T20 series against South Africa. He is seen as a potential future captain for Team India.
