Healthy Chole Recipe: A wonderful combination of health and taste, which will add charm to your meal

Healthy Chhole: Chole is a grain that is very beneficial for health. It contains a lot of nutrients. Such as vitamins, minerals and fiber. Chole is made in different ways in every state. You can eat chole as a salad, as a gravy vegetable, and also as a chaat.

By including the consumption of chickpeas in our routine diet, we get elements like calories, fiber, protein, iron and copper. Which is very beneficial for our health. The taste of chickpeas makes our mouth water. Its special thing is that eating chickpeas keeps the hunger under control.

Let’s see what ingredients we need to make these delicious chole:

 

500 grams of chickpeas

 

Four large onions

 

Two tomatoes

 

Two tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

 

One teaspoon turmeric powder

 

One teaspoon cumin powder

 

One teaspoon red chili powder

 

One teaspoon coriander powder

 

One teaspoon black pepper powder

 

One tablespoon garam masala powder

 

Four tablespoons mustard oil

 

Two bay leaves

 

Two to three dried red chilies

 

One tablespoon chole masala

 

Salt according to taste

Method of making chole:

Soak the chickpeas overnight. Put four tablespoons of oil in the cooker and when it is hot, add cumin, red chili and bay leaves. After the tempering crackles, fry the finely chopped onion until it turns golden and as soon as the onion is fried, add all the ground masala and cook for 5 minutes. Add finely chopped tomatoes, four teaspoons of water and fry it well until it releases oil. After all the spices are fried properly, stir in the chole masala and garam masala dal. Finally, keep the soaked chickpeas in it for 5 minutes. Add salt to taste and after 6 to 7 whistles, turn off the gas.

In this recipe, we have not boiled the chickpeas. This will make your chickpeas even more delicious and will also save your time. Once you try making chickpeas in this way, you will forget the market chickpeas.

Now your perfect chickpeas are ready! Serve it with puri, rice or your favorite dish.
