Violence In Manipur’s Jiribam: The fire of violence in Manipur is not taking the name of stopping. The violent incident in Jiribam district on Saturday reportedly claimed the lives of five people.

The police reported that one person died while sleeping. This figure may also increase. Simultaneously, the subsequent firing resulted in the deaths of four armed men.

Four armed men died

The officer went on to say that the firing killed four armed men, including three hill militants. According to the officer, the militants entered the house of a person living alone in a deserted area about five kilometers from the district headquarters and shot him dead.

Militants had carried out rocket attack

This week, violent incidents have taken place in many districts of the state. In Manipur’s Bishnupur district, militants attacked a residential area with a rocket on Friday afternoon.

An elderly man died in the attack and five people are reported to be injured. Earlier, militants burnt five vacant houses in a village in Imphal West district of Manipur.
