According to the order, the dearness allowance will increase in the salary of the month of November. The increase in dearness allowance will increase the salary of employees from 620 to 7 thousand. Government has increased 4% DA
The government has increased 4% DA of employees receiving 7th pay scale on 28 October. In this sequence, the DA of 40 thousand employees getting 6th pay scale has also been increased. The DA of these employees has increased from 9% to 239%, the employees were being given 230% DA from July 2023. At the same time, between January 1 and September 30, 2024, a lump sum amount of arrears will be paid to the dependent members of retired or deceased employees.
DA of about 1 lakh employees
The DA of about 1 lakh employees working in the corporation and board receiving the fourth and fifth pay scale has also been increased from 1 January 2024. The DA of employees getting the fifth pay scale has increased by 11% from 291% to 302%. At the same time, the DA of employees getting the fourth pay scale has increased by 40% to 1385%. These employees were being paid 13.45% DA from July 2023.
Applicable from January 1, 2024
According to the order issued by the Madhya Pradesh Finance Department, the rate of dearness allowance payable to government employees receiving salary in the sixth pay scale has been increased. From July 1, 2023, employees were being given 230 percent dearness allowance, which is being increased by 9 percent to 239 percent. According to the order, the rate of increased dearness allowance will be applicable from January 1, 2024 and the benefit of the increase in dearness allowance will be given to the employees-officers from 1 October 2024 (payment month November 2024).
