There is a good news for those, who are waiting for the Old Pension Scheme to be implemented. A big decision has been taken by the Gujarat state government regarding the Old Pension Scheme. The proposal to give the benefit of the Old Pension Scheme to those employees who have been employed before 2005 has been passed. The benefit of the old pension is going to be available only to those employees who joined the job before 2005. Employees who joined government jobs after 2005 will not get the benefit.

Finance Department has announced the official proposal

The Finance Department has announced the official proposal regarding the Old Pension Scheme, according to which the old pension scheme has been announced for the employees selected before 1-4-2005 and fixed salary. The Finance Department issued an official resolution that the old pension scheme for employees selected and fixed pay before 1-4-2005 will continue to be applicable.

More than 60 thousand government employees of the state will get the benefit

The Bhupendrabhai Patel government of Gujarat has taken this decision. He has passed a proposal to give old pension scheme to government employees. The Gujarat government has made an official announcement regarding the Old Pension Scheme through the Finance Department. Under this, more than 60 thousand government employees of the state will get the benefit of the old pension scheme. The Finance Department has also issued a notice regarding this.

This notice states that employees engaged in government jobs before 1 April 2025 will get this benefit. Retired employees will be given pension under the old pension scheme. The employees had been demanding the introduction of the old pension scheme for a long time. In view of this demand, the Bhupendra government of Gujarat has made an important announcement.
