EPFO UPDATE

EPFO Account Balance: This news is beneficial if PF is deducted from your salary while working in the private sector. You can quickly check how much money has been deposited in the EPF account of PF employees. There are three simple ways to check the money, which will not cause any trouble.

Every month, a part of the salary of PF employees goes to the EPF account. After retirement, the funds collected in the EPF account are received along with all the interest. Anyway, the central government pays interest to PF employees every financial year.

According to a report, there are about seven crore PF employees nationwide. You can quickly check how much money has been deposited into your EPF account by using MMS, the Umang app, or missed calls. You can learn how to do this below.

Do you know the amount in the EPF account through missed calls?

Missed calls are a good way to get balance information from your EPF account. Your mobile number should be registered with UAN. You can give a missed call to 9966044425 from the registered mobile number. After this, balance information will be sent to your number through SMS from EPFO.

Check amount from Umang app

Apart from the missed calls, PF employees can also get information about EPF balance through the Umang app. You must first download the Umang app to your smartphone to do this. Then, you can submit the claim using the app. Not only this, you can also see your EPF passbook easily. You can track your claims. The employee will need to enter the mobile number in the Umang app. One-time registration has to be done.

Check the balance from the EPFO portal as well.

PF employees can also quickly check their balances by visiting the EPFO website. The employee has to go to EPFO and click on the employees section. After this, click on member passbook. Here, you have to access the PF passbook by entering your UAN and password. You will be shown the opening and closing balances along with the employee and employer contributions. It will also show the total PF transfer and interest amount. This is a straightforward process.
