MG Cyberster EV has been recently introduced in India at the Auto Expo 2025. It will be sold through the automaker’s more premium ‘MG Select’ dealerships and its booking has now started. This all-electric sports car is expected to be launched in India in April 2025. But its pre-booking has started ahead of the launch.
MG Cyberster EV Powertrain
This is a two-seater luxury electric sports car. This all-electric car coming to the Indian market gets two motors. It has two electric motors on each axle, which together give an output of 510 PS and 725 Nm. It will get a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which can give a range of up to 500km on a single charge.
While the MG Cyberster EV available in the global market also has a rear-axle-mounted motor that gives an output of 340 PS and 475 Nm. JS MG Motor claims that its domestic all-electric car Cyberster can accelerate to 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds.
MG Cyberster EV Features
If we talk about its features, it gets a 3-screen setup on the dashboard, out of which two come with a 7-inch and one with 10.25-inch display. Also, it has a touch-enabled screen for AC control.
Apart from this, this luxury all-electric car also has features like 6-way electrically-adjustable heated seats with memory function, electrically openable and foldable soft roof, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system.
MG Cyberster EV Safety
For safety, the India-spec Cyberster gets features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Lane-Keep Assist and Active Emergency Braking. Apart from this, it is expected that features like the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) can also be provided for safety.
MG Cyberster EV color option and competition
MG Cyberster EV is available for sale with 4 color options. It will have Diamond Red, Inca Yellow, Ivory White, and Andes Gray color options.
MG Cyberster electric car has no direct rival in the Indian market, but it can compete with the electric version of the BMW Z4 roadster in India.
