Maruti Wagon R flex: This time at Indian Global Auto Expo 2025, along with many electric cars, vehicles running on flex fuel (ethanol) were also introduced. This means that soon this cars equipped with the ethanol technology will be manufactured and sold in India. Initially, it will start on a small scale. As the demand increases, models will be introduced.

Maruti Suzuki first introduced the flex fuel model of Wagon R at Indian global Auto Expo 2023 and since then it is expected that the company may soon launch its final production model in the market. It is believed that this will be the company’s first flex fuel car. Not only this, this car has also been shown at the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers Ethanol Technology Exhibition in Delhi.

Wagon R will run on 85% ethanol and 20% petrol mix

The Maruti Flex Fuel Wagon R will be manufactured locally in the country inside. This will definitely reduce the import of crude oils and promote a green environment.

The flex fuel model is capable of running on any 20% (E20) and 85% (E85) ethanol-petrol fuel. This year Maruti Suzuki will introduce the first EV, after which it can also launch the flex fuel model. In the coming time, the company will also focus on biogas cars.

Hyundai Creta Flex Fuel will be launched

Hyundai has also showcased the Creta Flex Fuel at the Indian Global Auto Expo 2025 this year. The new Creta Flex Fuel has a 998cc turbo engine which gives 120 PS of power and 172 Newton meters of torque. It also has a 6-speed automatic transmission. With this engine, the SUV can also be run on 100% ethanol. No information has been received about its mileage yet. It is believed that this new model can be launched in the Indian market during the next few months.
