Hero Splendor: In December 2024, the sales of two-wheelers, including motorcycles and scooters, experienced a slowdown compared to previous months, attributed to various factors. Despite this trend, the Hero Splendor maintained its leading position, selling 192,438 units and outperforming all competitors, including the Honda Activa and Shine. The top 10 two-wheelers for that month included models such as the Splendor, Activa, Shine, TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, Bajaj Pulsar, Hero HF Deluxe, TVS XL100, Royal Enfield Classic 350, and Bajaj Platina.

Year-on-year, most of the motorcycles and scooters in the top 10 saw a decrease in sales. Hero Splendor’s sales fell by over 15%, while Honda Activa experienced a 16% decline. Conversely, the Honda Shine and TVS Jupiter, ranked third and fourth, respectively, reported sales increases of 18% and 49% year-on-year. Additionally, sales for Suzuki Access, Bajaj Pulsar, Hero HF Deluxe, TVS XL100, and Bajaj Platina also declined. Notably, Royal Enfield’s Classic 350 saw a significant year-on-year sales increase of 40% in December.
