Virat Kohli is one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Player like him would be a dream for every captain. Recently in a podcast 

Afghanistan’s Test and ODI captain, Hashmatullah Shahidi , has named Virat Kohli as the one Indian cricketer he would love to see playing for Afghanistan. Shahidi said that Kohli’s numbers speak for himself.

The 29-year-old recently led Afghanistan to a 2-1 ODI series win against Afghanistan. Afghanistan won the first and second games by six wickets and 177 runs. However, the Proteas managed to avoid a whitewash by beating the Asian team by 7 wickets in the third and final contest. Shahidi managed 16 and 10 in the two ODIs he batted.
