According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of the country. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Arunachal Pradesh. Heavy rains may continue in Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland. Heavy rains may continue in Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Heavy rain warning has also been issued in Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka.
