Samsung Galaxy S25 series:- The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to launch in the global market in early 2025. Tipster @sondesix posted on X that Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 will be launched on January 22, 2025. The event will be held at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST).
The tipster also revealed that the Galaxy S25 line— the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultr—will be launched at the event.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series
The upcoming Galaxy S25 series will include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. As per a recent leak, the lineup will support wired fast charging up to 45W, just like the Galaxy S24 series. The Galaxy S25 models are expected to offer 15W to just 9W.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset can be used in this series. Samsung has confirmed that all models will run on Android 7 with OneUI 15. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to upgrade its ultra-wide camera to a 50-megapixel sensor. It will come with its signature 200-megapixel primary camera.
All three devices will feature 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will also feature the S Pen (model EJ-PS938) developed by Wacom. According to leaked reports, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ may come in Midnight Black, Sparkling Green, Sparkling Blue, Moon-Night Blue, and Silver Shadow colours. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may be launched in Titanium Black, Blue, Silver, and Titanium Gray.
The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ may have screen sizes and specs similar to their predecessors. The S25 Ultra may feature UFS 4.1 storage and up to 16GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25, S25+: Expected prices in India
The Galaxy S25 series could be priced between Rs 5,000 and 7,000 higher than the previous generation. The Galaxy S25 Ultra could be priced at around Rs 1,34,999, while the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 could be priced at Rs 1,04,999 and Rs 84,999, respectively.
