The wait is over regarding the Ration Card. Ration card holders in the country are given ration at a low rate or free of cost. But many times there is a problem with forgetting the card home while taking ration. To get rid of this problem, the government has now introduced a new method. For this, a mobile app called Mera Ration 2.0 has been launched. This app will eliminate the need for your physical ration card. Let’s know the complete process related to this app and the eligibility to make a ration card.

 

Mera Ration 2.0: Digital Ration Card Solution

 

Now there is no need to carry a ration card every time. By installing the Mera Ration 2.0 app, you can use the digital ration card.

 

Here’s how to use the app

 

Download: Download the Mera Ration 2.0 app from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

 

After installing the app, enter the required information like Aadhaar number, phone number, etc.

 

OTP Verification: Enter the OTP on your registered mobile number.

 

Show digital card: Now the digital copy of your ration card will open. By showing this, you can easily take rations.

 

Eligibility for Ration Card

 

If you do not have a ration card, you can also get it online. The eligibility for the ration card is as follows:

 

Age: Applicant must be 18 years of age or older.

 

Economic status: The annual income of the family should be less than Rs. 5 lakh.

 

Job: No family member should be in a government job.

 

Vehicle ownership: The family should not own a car or other four-wheeler.

 

Pensioner: If getting pension then the amount should not exceed Rs. 10,000.
