Ration Card e-KYC will not be complete without these 2 documents

Ration Card e-KYC: The advantages associated with ration cards should be reserved exclusively for those in need. To ensure this, the government is implementing mandatory e-KYC procedures to prevent ineligible individuals from exploiting the free ration system. Currently, there are numerous individuals who are not entitled to these benefits but are still availing themselves of free rations.

e-KYC via the Mera Ration Card 2.0 App

To begin, download the Mera Ration 2.0 App on your mobile device. Log in by entering your Aadhaar number and the captcha, followed by the OTP and setting your PIN. To perform e-KYC, select the family details option. Before proceeding with e-KYC, verify the status of the family member. If the ration card is not linked to Aadhaar, you will need to visit the ration card dealer to complete this process.

e-KYC through the Ration Dealer

For this method, visit your ration card dealer and provide all required documents for e-KYC. The completion of this process will depend on the submitted documentation.

These two documents are necessary

It is important to note that the e-KYC process cannot be finalized without both the ration card and Aadhaar card.

Follow the process to check your ration card e-KYC status

If you wish to check the status of your ration card e-KYC online, visit your state’s food security portal and enter your ration card number. Subsequently, navigate to the status section for ration card e-KYC.
