Now update your ration card in just a few steps, know here how to add the name of a new member

A big update is revealed regarding the Ration Card. You can now effortlessly add any family member’s name to your ration card without any complications. With the Mera Ration App 2.0, this entire process can be completed online with ease.

Required Documents

To include a new member on your ration card, you’ll need to gather a few documents. Make sure to have these ready in digital format:

 

– Aadhaar card of the new member

– Bank Account Passbook

– Income Certificate

– Caste Certificate

– Address proof

– Active mobile number

– Passport-sized photo

 

Using the App

To add a new member’s name to your ration card, simply download the Mera Ration App 2.0 from the Google Play Store. Once installed, you can manage the entire process from the comfort of your home.

 

Verification with OTP

Start by downloading and installing the app. You will receive an OTP on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card, which will be used for verification. This step is straightforward and secure.

 

Set MPIN

After verification, create a MPIN in the app to avoid repeatedly checking your Aadhaar card. Once set, you can easily access the app’s dashboard.

 

Add New Member Name

Next, click on the Family Details option on the dashboard. You’ll find your ration card details and all family members listed. Select Add New Member, fill out the form, and upload the necessary documents before hitting the Submit button.

 

Track and Get Updates

Once you submit the form, you can monitor the status of your application through the app, ensuring everything is progressing smoothly.
