LPG Price Hike: Cylinder Prices Rise in This State, Check Latest Rates in Your Area

The month of December has begun today, marking the end of the year 2024. As with every month, LPG cylinder prices have been updated on the first day. According to the latest update, the prices of commercial cylinders have increased. However, the prices of domestic cylinders remain unchanged.

Significant Price Increase

According to the website of oil marketing companies, the price of commercial LPG cylinders has risen by Rs 16.5. This marks the fifth consecutive month of price hikes for commercial cylinders.

As per the latest update, the price of a commercial cylinder in Delhi has increased to Rs 1818.50, compared to Rs 1802 in November. It is worth noting that a commercial cylinder weighs 19 kg and is commonly used in restaurants and similar establishments.

Experts suggest that rising commercial cylinder prices often lead to an increase in food prices at restaurants.

Air Travel May Become Expensive

The prices of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) have also been updated today. December has seen an increase of over Rs 4,000 in ATF prices. Experts believe this could lead to higher air travel costs.
