Government Ullas Scheme Update: The government has made special arrangements to educate those who have been unable to receive an education since childhood. The Haryana government has launched the Ullas Yojana to provide education to illiterate individuals and elderly people in government schools. Here’s the complete information about this initiative.

Haryana Government ULLAS Scheme Moto

The Haryana Government has launched the ULLAS (Understanding Lifelong Learning For All in Society) scheme to provide education to the state’s illiterate and elderly population. Under this initiative, illiterate individuals and elderly people will be educated in government schools.

Key Features of ULLAS Scheme:

  • Education for All: Under the ULLAS scheme, illiterate people will be taught to recognize letters, read words by combination, and identify numbers. Those who complete their education will also receive a schooling certificate.
  • Registration Process: To benefit from this scheme, individuals must register on the ULLAS app. The app is available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple Store.
  • Skill Development and Employment: The Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training Department is linked to this scheme. Once participants receive their schooling certificate, they will be eligible for diploma courses in ITI for further skill development.

Three Phases of the Scheme:

  1. Phase 1: Education for illiterate individuals.
  2. Phase 2: Issuance of schooling certificates.
  3. Phase 3: Employment opportunities for the educated participants.

Survey and Registration:

A survey conducted in Haryana registered 13,400 people, including 85 elderly individuals, who are eligible for this scheme.

This initiative aims to provide lifelong learning and empower the illiterate population in Haryana through education, skill development, and employment opportunities.
