If you are planning to invest in FD, then this article is for you. Axis Bank, a lender in the private sector, has updated its interest rates for fixed deposits. The updated interest rates for deposits over Rs 5 crore will take effect from December 4. Simultaneously, the bank altered the interest rates for FDs below Rs 3 crore last month. 

The bank is providing interest rates between 3% and 7.25% on FDs for the public, applicable to amounts under Rs 3 crore. The interest rates for elderly individuals vary between 3.50% and 7.75%. Simultaneously, the bank provides interest rates ranging from 4.75% to 7.30% to the public on term deposits exceeding Rs 5 crore.

Axis Bank Fixed Deposit Interest Rates

Axis Bank is providing appealing interest rates on one-year fixed deposits. The interest rate for general citizens is 6.70 percent, while for senior citizens it is 7.20 percent on investments under Rs 3 crore. Investments between Rs 5 crore and Rs 10 crore are earning an interest of 7.80%. The bank is providing an additional 0.50% interest to senior citizens on fixed deposits under Rs 3 crore. Nonetheless, an investment exceeding Rs 5 crore does not qualify for this facility.
