Big news for common people. The survey process for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in rural areas has been relaunched. The department aims to finish the survey by March 31, and surveyors have been assigned to work at the Panchayat Samiti level.

The Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj has activated the online portal, and a survey is currently underway to identify eligible families in the district’s Gram Panchayat area.

The department has established ten guidelines for applicants. Notably, farmers with a KCC limit exceeding 50,000 will not qualify for the scheme’s benefits.

Who Will Not Benefit from PM Housing:

1. The survey will include eligible families living in kutcha houses and those without homes in the district.

2. Conversely, villagers who own pucca houses, as well as those with motorized three-wheelers and four-wheelers, will not be eligible for this scheme.

3. Additionally, individuals with mechanized agricultural equipment, such as three-wheelers and four-wheelers, will also be excluded from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana benefits.

4. Farmers with 2.5 acres or more of irrigated land or 11.5 acres or more of non-irrigated land will not qualify for the scheme. Families with any member in government employment or those running non-agricultural businesses will also be ineligible for housing assistance.

5. Lastly, individuals who pay income tax or business tax will not be able to take advantage of this scheme.
