These devices have recently been seen on Samsung’s official Indian website, which is indicating that these phones can be introduced in the market very soon. But going by these pages and several certifications and benchmark listings, it looks like it’s going to be launched soon.

Spots with these model numbers

The device with the model number SM-A066B/DS is the Galaxy A06. These are the SM-E066B/DS Galaxy F06, SM-E166P/DS Galaxy F16, and SM-M166P/DS Galaxy M16. These model numbers were spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting at an India launch.

Further, the Galaxy A06 and Galaxy F06 have been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG database, which is expected to come in Bluetooth and WLAN with 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G connectivity. For the first time in this lineup, the 5G Galaxy A06 will be introduced in

This will be the first time that a 5G device will be introduced in this lineup. A recent Geekbench listing suggested that the phone could come with the latest Android 15. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM.

At the same time, this device on Geekbench 6 can come in single-core performance. Both the Galaxy F16 and Galaxy M16 are believed to be rebranded versions of the Galaxy A16, which was launched in October last year.

If this is indeed the case, then both these phones could come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ display. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. It also features a 13-megapixel front camera. It packs a large 5,000mAh battery with dual-band Wi-Fi support.

Interestingly, the company launched the 4G variant of its Galaxy A06 in India in September 2024, which comes with a 5000mAh battery and a 50-megapixel dual-rear camera setup. However, the company has not yet made any official announcement about the phone.
