The Indian premier League is still a few months away. But the BCCI have announced a retention policy. Each IPL team can retain 5 players, in which two player will be from foreign country. 

Before the mega auction every team is brainstorming to retain players, but few teams will find it hard to make a proper combination. 

BCCI have called every team owner for a pre meeting in Mumbai where each owner produced their view on retention policy. Few asked for less player retention policy, but few owners were demanding for more players retention policy.
